The Farm

Mariners Farm is about 18 acres of chalk Parkland in Bishopsbourne within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The aim of the farm is to breed and rear mainly traditional breeds of livestock in a way that promotes animal welfare and the heritage of our beautiful countryside. We keep a handful of Tamworth pigs, Jersey and Shetland cattle, Romney and Romney cross sheep and a variety of chickens, ducks and geese.

Very tasty pork, delicious beef and mouth-watering lamb are often available for sale from the farm gate. The animals are born, bred and reared on the farm and killed only a few miles away – nothing even goes to market if we can avoid it.

If you are interested in buying our meat, please contact us for more details.
